Stalwart claims PTI being made a formidable force

KAMALIA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is being re-organised to transform it into a formidable force in the district.
PTI provincial council member Chaudhry Ashfaq stated at a press briefing here the other day. He claimed that hardworking and dedicated workers are being appointed as office-bearers of the party. “Unlike other parties, PTI is the only party wherein the common man can also participate in its intra-party elections,” he explained. He criticised the MQM for destroying peace of Karachi and praised Rangers for its operation against terrorism.
Ch Ashfaq expressed his party’s resolve to restore peace in Karachi and make it again the city of lights after coming into power.
TMA SWOOPS ON ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTIONS: The crackdown launched on illegal constructions will continue and no one will be allowed to violate rules, Town Municipal Officer (TMO) Rana Muhammad Nawaz said. Talking to the reporters here, the TMO informed that the TNA had served notices to the owners of the illegal buildings to demolish it voluntarily across Kamalia City but they did not show any response.–Staff Reporter

He claimed that the authority has sealed various plazas and other under-construction structures being built in violation of the building by-laws.
Mr Nawaz informed that Rs1.2 million has been recovered as fine from the violators so far in the crackdown.
He also appealed to the public to get approved their residential and commercial building maps from TMA prior to construction.
