KARACHI - Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will set up eight emergency response centres in the metropolis to cope with any emergency situation.These centres will ensure quick dispatch of ambulances, fire tenders and other required support to the site of emergency. This was stated by Metropolitan Commissioner Muttanat Ali Khan while visiting the sites of these proposed centres, said Karachi Metropolitan Corporation release here on Sunday. He said the areas identified for these centres are Nagan Chaurangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, NIPA, Liaquatabad, Petrol Pump, Nazimabad, Baloch Colony and Karimabad.
