SARGODHA - Former senator Meher Khudad Khan Luk, who died of a cardiac arrest, was laid to rest in graveyard of his ancestral village Skaiser on Sunday.

Earlier, his funeral was offered at Mela Mandi Ground Sargodha which was attended by politicians, lawyers, journalists, traders and people from all walks of life. Meher Khudad Khan Luk initiated his political life when he was elected as MNA in 1962. He also worked for democracy with Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto. He had been elected four times as and twice as senator. He had recently joined PTI during the visit of Imran Khan to his residence.
