PPP leaders pledge to bundle out Sharifs to Jati Umra

LAHORE- The PPP on Sunday took out a rally in the City to express solidarity with its beleaguered Prime Minister amid show of weapons by personal body guards of some party leaders.
The participants who were carrying placards and pictures of President Zardari, Prime Minister Gilani and those of the late Bhuttos. They were chanting slogans in favour of their leadership and against their political adversaries. 
Party’s northern Punjab President, Imtiaz Safdar Warraich led the rally who also heralded an imminent downfall of the PML-N, saying that Sharifs would be bundled out to Jati Umra (India) after the next general elections. “This time around, they would not proceed to Jeddah from Attock Jail, but to their ancestral abode of Jati Umra located close to the Indian City of  Jalandhar”, he told party men, pledging that PPP would take back Lahore from the PML-N and make it a stronghold of the party.   “The PPP would not only gain victory in all provinces but also from Lahore in the coming elections”, he said, adding that his party would continue to hold rallies on roads till cessation of conspiracies against the government.
“Today, thousands of people have proved by coming out on to the roads that the stance taken by PM Gilani before the Supreme Court is correct”, he maintained. 
Speaking on the occasion, Samina Khalid Ghurki criticised laptop scheme of Punjab government, saying the amount spent on these gadgets could be spend to improve the condition primary schools in rural areas. Local party leaders including Haji Azizur Rehman Chan, Auranzeb Burki, Usman Saleem Malik, Navid Ch, Faiza Malik, Zekria Butt and Afnan Butt were prominent among other participants.
