SUKKUR - The Sindh Government announced on Sunday it would challenge a Sindh High Court decision to hold Local Bodies elections in the province within three months.
Speaking to journalists at Sukkur Airport, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said election preparations would take time as even electoral lists were not yet finalised. He said his government would file an appeal against the ruling to hold the Local Bodies elections in three months. He said PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif could not garner the support of any key figure from Sindh barring Mumtaz Bhutto.
The nationalists who are now joining hands with Nawaz Sharif, were his critics in the past, he added.
