ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Badminton Foundation (PBF) has arranged a two-day badminton tournament for the special children (boys & girls) U-16, who are having disabilities of hearing today (Wednesday) at the badminton hall of National Education Center for Hearing Impaired Children (NECHIC). Only players of NECHIC will take part in the event. PBF secretary M Bilal said that this tournament was meant to flourish the game among the special children and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their skills in sports. Later, our foundation will also provide the technical support to such organisations in Islamabad who are working with children with other disabilities and also under Para-badminton section, we want to involve special children in maximum sporting activities, he added.–Staff Reporter
