LAHORE - PML-N candidate Saud Majid has been elected as senator unopposed on the seat vacated by Punjab Governor M Rafiq Rajwana. According to media reports, no one, except Saud, filed nomination papers to contest for this Senate seat till Wednesday – the last day fixed by the Election Commission for this exercise. The Commission will notify election of Saud Majid in next few days.
