The TMA launched a special campaign to collect outstanding arrears from the shopkeepers who are running their business in the shops owned by the TMA.

TMO Ch Muhammad Nadeem directed the officials to recover outstanding dues from shopkeepers and seal off all the shop which fail to pay the dues. A prior notice has been issued to all the rent defaulters to pay the dues within 10 days.

Talking to the media, the TMO said that the TMA had recovered 85 per cent amount from rental shops which was pending since long time.

He claimed that and the TMA would also recover 100 per cent dues from the defaulters by June 30.

He said that the TMA would also launch campaign to recover outstanding amount from defaulters on Colony Road, Multan Road, Quaid-e-Azam Road and interior of city area soon.

He said that the TMA took strict action against rent defaulters and sealed shops on the recommendation of administrator Muhammad Riaz in different markets.
