Nawaz Sharif stands for rule of law, welfare of public: Marriyum

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that despite passage of two years, no corruption of even a single penny has been proven against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, reported by Radio Pakistan.

Talking to the media persons outside accountability court in Islamabad on Monday, she said the former Prime Minister stands for the rule of law and welfare of public and today he recorded his statement in a reference for four hours.

The Information Minister said that Nawaz Sharif not only eliminated terrorism and made Pakistan a nuclear power but also completed infrastructure projects worth billions of rupees. 

About one hundred day program unveiled by the PTI yesterday, the Information Minister said Imran Khan should firstly tell as to what his government did in KPK over the last five years. She said the UNDP report on human development index presents a gloomy picture of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She said report exposes the poor performance of the PTI's provincial government.

She said we want to develop and make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the pattern of Punjab. She said the people will hold the PTI accountable in the next general elections.
