KARACHI - President Womens Wing Tehreek-e-Insaf Fauzia Kasuri on Friday said that it was time for women to come forward and take charge, as the situation of Pakistan was getting worse day by day. Addressing the formation ceremony of Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindhs Executive Body said that women are the ultimate sufferers of the war on terror therefore the need of the time is to heal the wounds of the country through social reconstruction. She said that so far Tehreek-e-Insaf Women Wing has facilitated the war-ridden areas of the country with 15 wells and among them 4 are in Swat. One well costs Rs. 35 to 70 thousand. She further informed that they will make more than 50 thousand women members in Karachi to spread the message of Tehreek-e-Insaf for bringing a change in politics for the prosperity and good reputation of the country. Tehreek-e-Insaf is a platform for the masses to raise their voices against social injustice because it is the only political party of the country with a leader who is not a feudal or an industrialist, she added. She said they would make some ground in the political scenario of the country in the next elections, and their sole aim was to clear the image of the country on an international level as our image had become that of a beggar and terrorist nation due to the policies of corrupt governments. She urged the newly formed Executive Body members to work for the well being of the masses and in this regard they should form committees of young lawyers, and they can write against social injustice in the society. Our members should encourage the masses of the country to vote for those who are sincere with the people and the country, and should help them choose the best leaders for the prosperous future of the country, she said. She said that Imran Khan believes in Pakistan, and now being members it is our duty to support him in achieving his goals to make Pakistan a nation of reputable and honorable people who are not terrorists or beggars. She also said that countries all over the world are not willing to give money to president Zardari because of his reputation, and the international community laughs at the NRO, it being a very stupid thing. In this country, politicians are corrupt and are after national money, so hoping for a change by them is just wishful thinking, she stated, adding that the incumbent government cannot help in reinstating the image of the country as an independent and Muslim state. Fauzia informed the members of the Womens Wing that Imran Khan will visit Karachi at the end of January ahead of party elections, so they should start working hard to help the masses of the country by taking part in the party elections. The names of the members of the Executive Body are Mrs. Salma Mirza, Mrs. Zara Hussain, Ms. Erum Butt, Mrs. Fauzia Mehtab, Ms. Nadia Hummayun, Ms. Gulbahar Elahi, and Mrs. Ghazala Shehzad. The members of the Executive Body vowed to extend full support to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for the prosperity of the country.
