LAHORE - Imperial Cricket Club has defeated Golden Star Cricket Club by three wickets in a friendly fixture played here. Batting first, Golden Star scored 107 runs in the allotted 18 overs. Nadeem Khan and Zeeshan Shabbir were key contributors of Golden Star as they scored 29 runs each. For Imperial Club, Jahanzab Tahir and M Faizan clinched two wickets each. In reply, Imperial Club players batted strongly and punished the Golden Star bowlers at their will and achieved the target in the 17th overs for the loss of seven wickets. M Arsalan was top scorer with his hammering 27 runs while Saqlain Shah contributed 24 runs. For Golden Star Club, Faisal Aslam and M Dawood took one wicket apiece. In another match, Muslim Abad Gymkhana Club beat Prince Cricket Club by 21 runs.
