LAHORE - Bahawalnagar Desert Camels defeated Lodhran Spartans 30-12 in the Servis Tyres Super 15’s Rugby Championship. The match started with a dominant performance from the Desert Camel’s forwards pack who were leading the match at 20–0 at half time. Lodhran Spartans made a brilliant comeback by utilizing their back line to penetrate the Bahawalnagar defence line multiple times to score twice in quick succession. Desert Camels soon regained their composure and went on to score two more times to finish the game at the 30–12. Desert Camels coach Muzammal Khan Wazeeri lauded the efforts of the players and organisers. In the division II match, Bahawalpur made a comeback to win the match 5–0, but lost the title to Vihari on point’s difference from previous matches.
