GUJRANWALA - Tension rose between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the ruling PML-N after the PTI hoardings placed on GT Road at different places were set ablaze by unidentified culprits the other night.

According to details, on Thursday night some unidentified persons set on fire about six PTI hoardings placed at different places on GT Road regarding the party’s public meeting to be held on November 23, at Jinnah stadium Gujranwala. The accused specially targeted the picture of Imran Khan and threw inflammable material on it.

The news spread like wildfire in the city and a large number of PTI workers and local office bearers rushed to the spot. They condemned the incident and blamed that the PML-N leaders were busy creating obstacles to pressurise the PTI leaders ahead of its scheduled public meeting in the city on Nov 23.
