Lashkari Raisani resigns from PML-N

QUETTA - Balochistan leader and brother of former Chief Minister of Balochistan Aslam Raisani, Lashkari Raisani has resigned from Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), stating that PML-N is rewarding only one province and the Federal government has failed to resolve the missing persons case in Balochistan.
Raisani said that PML-N has become a party of one province only instead of the Federation.
He said that none of the promises made to the people of Balochistan were fulfilled by the government in 2 and half years and all the matters have kept limited to the Murree agreement.
He said that the PML-N neither brought any legislation for Balochistan nor did it take any measures for the recovery of the missing persons.
“I thought that PML-N was doing the politics of Federation and would do something for Balochistan on emergency basis but it is sad to note that PML-N has completely failed to delegate the powers to the provinces and resolution of the other problems”, said Raisani.
Raisani said that PML-N’s attitude is that of a provincial party and not that of a federal party.
