The law enforcement agencies in a countrywide crackdown arrested more than 150 foreigners including 70 Afghans including women and children. Rawalpindi Police cued by intelligence agencies launched a search operation in Sadiqabad locality of the city and arrested 65 suspects including five Afghan nationals. The Rangers in a raid at Sindh-Punjab border near Ghotki arrested 46 Afghan nationals including women and children. The law enforcement agencies arrested five Afghans from a coach in Kashmore and captured foreign currency from their possession. In Tall area of Hangu police detained 14 Afghan nationals, while in a search operation in Kohat security forces arrested 27 suspects from the Cantt area. In a search drive in Sui police arrested 15 persons with arms. The forces have launched a search operation in various parts of Sui with Bugti tribal force, official sources said. The forces have demolished many hideouts of the miscreants and explosions heard in some parts of the region amid the drive. Sindh-Balochistan border area near Jaffarabad has also been sealed during the operation.
