Latif Khan Khosa categorically rejected allegations

Former Attorney General Latif Khan Khosa facing charges of taking bribe in the name of judges has categorically rejected the charges and raised the objection on Chief Justice Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heading the bench. The Supreme Court has directed the Khosa to submit his detailed reply within two weeks. The initial hearing of corruption case against Prime Minister Advisor Latif Khosa was conducted by a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Latif Khosa has rejected the charges framed against him and raised objections on Chief Justice for conducting hearing. Exchange of harsh words also took place between Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry and Latif Khosa. The court has adjourned the hearing for two weeks and issued notices to Umer Daraz, munshi of Latif Khosa, Deputy Attorney General Dil Muhammad Alizai and Mian Tariq Advocate. Talking to media after the hearing, Latif Khosa blamed that Chief Justice was responsible for the insult he faced in a gathering some times ago. He said chief justice should not hear the case. Khosa termed the allegations against him as baseless.
