KARACHI - Judicial Magistrate district (Malir) Mohammad Aslam Sheik on Tuesday has sent Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistans alleged Ameer of Karachi along with his three accomplices on remand for seven days till October 27. The suspectss Ameer Akhtar Zaman, TTPs alleged activists Samiullah alias Shamim, Fazal Kareem and Munawar Khan were produced before the court, where the court has given them in police custody for further investigation It is worthy of recalling that five FIRs were registered against the suspects that include attempt to murder, police encounter, possession of explosive materials, and some other allegations. The suspects admitted before the court about possession of illegal weapons. They were charged in the trial court for police encounter, attempt to murder and 13D cases. Later, two suspects Akhtar Zaman and Samiullah alias Shamim were brought before the administrative Judge Anti Terrorist Court of Sindh High Court Justice Maqbool Baqar in the case of attempt to explode an oil depot in Keamari, possession of explosive materials, attempt to murder and three 13D cases. They were sent for the physical remand till 27 October. It is worth mentioning that the suspects have been arrested on Monday for their alleged association with the banned extremist outfit TTP. Moreover, they were charged for being involved in terrorist activities and they also tried to hit the oil terminal near Kemari. They were also planning to target the offices of security agencies with an explosives-laden vehicle.
