It has been observed that retired police personnel and the families of the martyred, who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, are not given their dues on time. This creates a financial burden and also results in psychological anguish for the personnel and their families. It should be realised by the authorities that these police personnel served for their country and the martyred laid down their lives for the security of its citizens.
