OKARA - The former Jamaat-e-Islami ameer has termed the role of the Pakistanis essential for bringing Islamic revolution in the country, saying his party will not let the government to declare India the most favourite nation. All the political parties have totally failed in solving peoples problems. Their problems solution lies in Islamic rules, Qazi Hussain Ahmad said while talking to the media in a wedding ceremony in Hujra Shah Muqeem. The JI chief observed that because of electricity and fuel crises tremendous increase in unemployment, incidents of theft, dacoity and bloodshed was being witnessed, saying that such incidents had become order of the day. He further said that the US can never be a friend of Pakistan, urging the rulers to shun what he called US slavery. He disclosed that Pakistan has suffered a loss of 70 billion dollars in the so-called war on terror. He stressed the need for national unity in order to steer the country out of crises. On the occasion, JI district Ameer Farooq Sheikh was also present. Separately, the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan head has said the government has fallen flat in protecting sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan, putting a question mark on the states survival. The opposition parties did not play a role of the opposition, Senator Prof Sajid Mir said while addressing a press conference in Okara. He said that it was not sure that the Sindh government would implement the Supreme Court verdict on the Karachi riots. He said that the government had increased public grievances by raising electricity tariff. Mir said that the PPP gave a gift of corruption and price hike during the last four years, adding that the government had exploded petroleum bomb bv increasing the power rates. He said the PPP government did not want unity among religious parties and the PML-N. He said General (r) Pervez Musharraf sowed the seed of American slavery and the present watered the plant which has become a tall tree.. He said the government should think in line with the demands of the masses. He lamented there will be nothing fruitful in tumbling down the Punjab government. CM approves recreational park for Daska: On the demand of PML-N MNA Sahibzada Syed Murtaza Ameen, Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a project of establishing a recreational park in Daska. The CM has also sought a detailed report from Sialkot DCO Mujahid Sher Dil and Daska Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) regarding the details of the proposed land and expenditures. MNA Murtaza Ameen had brought the CMs attention towards the prolonged-delayed demand of the citizens, during his meeting with the CM. On the other hand, Assistant Commissioner Khalid Iqbal and TMO Tahir Nadeem Sindhu Thursday visited several places in Daska city and its outskirts and okayed 55-kanal land near Nawaz Sharif Stadium for the establishment of park. The said land was owned by the Irrigation Department. According to the official, Rs32 million would be spent on the parks establishment. The TMA has sent a detailed report to Punjab Planning And Development Department in this regard. TMO Tahir Nadeem Sindhu told the newsmen that the construction of the park would be started soon after the finally approval of this project by the CM.
