PML-N pursuing anti-masses policies, says Khursheed

SUKKUR - Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said that his party wants the PML-N government to complete its constitutional tenure, but the steps taken by them are against the country and its people.
Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Khursheed Shah said that despite inauspicious decisions made by the government, PPP would not spoil law and order situation through violent protests. He said the PPP wanted peace in the country and solution to the problems being faced by the countrymen. He said the party was ready to extend all support in this regard. The opposition leader said some elements wanted to revive the politics of past decades, but PPP was showing great patience in the larger interest of the country and its people.
Khurshid Shah said his party had offered a lot of sacrifices for democracy, so it would oppose any conspiracy to derail it. “We want to avoid politics of protests as it increases hatred among the masses affiliated with various political parties and often results in violence,” he said. He expressed the hope that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to the US would be fruitful.
The opposition leader said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had now entered active politics and would lead the party to take it to new heights of popularity among the masses.
