SARGODHA - Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan General Secretary Liaquat Baloch has said that the rulers should quit their luxuries and eliminate corruption to pull out the country from severe economical crisis and establish a solid economy.

He was talking to the mediamen here on Sunday. Liaquat Baloch said that drone strikes were tantamount to negation of Pakistan and were amounting to attacks on the country sovereignty. He stressed the need for framing internal and external policies keeping in view the supreme national interest and get rid of foreign dictation. The JI leader asserted that it was time for hold the local bodies' election on party basis to provide the masses with an opportunity to get resolved their problems at grassroots level.

Liaquat Baloch alleged that the incumbent rulers had pushed the masses into the depth of frustration and warned that the public seething with anger and despair could burst any time.

The JI stalwart maintained that his party would protest against the failed policies of the rulers and compelled them to bow before the public power. He pointed out that the impartiality of the newly-nominated NAB Chairman could be gauged only when he opened cases of corrupt elements in the ranks of both the PPP and PML-N. Baloch expressed his suspicion that the announcement of assistance by the American government prior to Nawaz Sharif visit compelled many to think that there were 'something special' which the US wanted the Premier to agree to.
