Rawalpindi - President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Syed Asad Mashadi has said that RCCI Trust would establish a school and a hospital initially to provide free health and education facilities to poor. “The RCCI Trust was a collective step of the business community of region to provide basic amenities of life to have-nots,” he stated this while addressing the traders and industrialists in a meeting held here at the Chamber on Monday.
Senior Vice President Mian Humayun Pervaz, Vice President Saboor Malik, members’ executive committee and other members of the Chamber were also present on the occasion.
Asad Mashadi said that Islam teaches us about brotherhood and humanity, it is the duty of haves to distribute some share from their wealth to have-nots.
He said that establishment of the RCCI proved that Rawalpindi Chamber along with economic uplift is also playing proactive role in social responsibilities.
He said that RCCI a free medical clinic is being run under the RCCI Medical Welfare Council in Chmaber’s premises in which under the supervision of a lady doctor Ultrasound, pregnancy test and blood test etc facilities are being provided free of cost.
He further said that Chamber devoted to enhance its circle of social services to facilitate maximum. Mashadi said that RCCI Trust will work under an autonomous and separate governing body and all financial matters will be displayed on Trust’s website to keep the donors informed about their contributions.
