Rawalpindi - Tehreek-e-Jawanan Pakistan (TJP) held a rally yesterday to express solidarity with the Turkish people and families of Ankara blast victims.

Later, the TJP organised a candle light vigil and prayed for the martyred victims at the head office of TJP.

Recent bombing in Ankara killed more than 102 people, the worst ever terrorist attack in the history of modern Turkey.

According to details, the TJP carried out a rally to express solidarity with the victim families of Ankara blast. They were also holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of Turkey.

Meanwhile, special prayers were offered for the martyrs of Ankara blast. Addressing the rally, TJP leader Dr Irfan Ashraf condemned terror attack on innocent people in Ankara. He said that Pakistani people and TJP are with Turkey and victim families. He said that Pakistan would stand shoulder to shoulder with Turkey in all circumstances.

“On behalf of Pakistani people and youth, we will like to assure our full moral, political and diplomatic support to our Turkish brothers. We will defend all conspiracies and plots which are aimed to weaken Turkey,” the TJP leader added.

He was of view that the world should know that any attack on the Turkish people of soil would be considered an attack on Pakistan. The participants dispersed after offering prayers for the victims of tragic incident.
