Honda Atlas Cars marks 300,000-unit milestone

LAHORE (PR): Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (HACPL) celebrated the 300,000 units of cumulative automobile production at its factory in Manga Mandi, Lahore. At the ceremony, an all-new 2016 Civic rolled off from the production line, commemorating the 300,000th unit produced. This remarkable milestone symbolizes Pakistani customers’ trust and strong support to Honda Pakistan. The company will continue its significant contribution to the country’s automobile business and demonstrates its commitment to long-term investment in the country.

Hachigo said, “Honda Atlas Cars has been presented in Pakistan automobile market for over 22 years and has always made the greatest efforts to provide best-quality products to our valuable customers. I would like to thank all Honda customers, who have made us proud.”
HACPL started business operations in May 1994 with the launch of Civic, and added the City model to the production line-up in January 1997. HACPL achieved its 100,000-unit production milestone in December 2005, and the 200,000-unit production milestone in July 2012, a mere seven years later. The company achieved today’s cumulative 300,000-unit production milestone in only four years since then.
In celebration of 300,000-unit production milestone, HACPL announced that it is launching a special sales promotion for HR-V customers by giving away free Modulo Door Visor kit and Special Engine Oil package for all orders placed from 21st October to 21st November 2016.

CAA’s efforts in improving services at BBIAP

ISLAMABAD (PR): Benazir Bhutto International Airport at Islamabad has been in the list of the ’10 Worst Airports in The World’ since 2012 when it was ranked the 3rd. In 2013 it ranked 4th Worst Airport and in 2014, it secured the number one position and was categorized as the Worst Airport in the world.
In a report published by CNN, Islamabad has been excluded from the list of 10 worst airports in the world due to dedicated and consistent CAA efforts. Proactive campaigns promoting CAA facilities, new initiatives, safety, security and customer satisfaction has ensured improved ranking of BBIAP Islamabad. This is a tribute to the standards maintained by CAA especially the new director general, who has been in office for only 10 months.

Horlicks provides sufficient nutrition to children
KARACHI (PR): Recently, a Horlicks Masterclass for consumers, mothers and media was held at a local hotel. The session was hosted by Sidra Iqbal. The session highlighted the fact that milk alone cannot meet the daily nutrition intake needed for school going children as they need a supplement that increases the strength of milk and helps make a child taller, stronger and sharper.
The three panelists emphasized that nutritional supplements are essential for children’s vital growth years. Horlicks when added to milk is scientifically proven to provide sufficient nutrition to help children reach their growth potential. Mobilink’s mobile-based agri service launched
ATTOCK (PR): Mobilink is targeting the agriculture sector of Pakistan with the launch of its new value-added service (VAS), ‘Ba Khabbar Kisaan’. The app based service utilising interactive voice response technology will provide farmers information and services related to agriculture such as optimised cultivation methods, modern farming techniques, health education for farmers, health precautions for plants, 24/7 helpline with trainings, weather information, crop insurance, market related information and a platform for sales.

Pink Ribbon joins hands with Gul Ahmed
KARACHI (PR): Being a woman centric brand for the masses, GulAhmed feels deeply concerned regarding the well-being of Pakistani women. JS Bank rating upgraded
KARACHI (PR): The Pakistan Credit Rating Agency Limited (PACRA) has upgraded the long-term entity rating of JS Bank Limited (JSBL) to ‘AA- (Double A Minus) [previously ‘A+ (A Plus)]. Meanwhile, short-term entity rating has been maintained at ‘A1+’ (A One Plus). The ratings denote a very low expectation of credit risk and indicate very strong capacity for timely payment of financial commitments.
The ratings reflect strengthened relative position of JS Bank in the country’s competitive banking landscape. This emanates from enhanced system share (approaching 2% of deposits at end-Sep16). The benefit has trickled down whereby concentration - both in deposits and advances - is approaching adequate levels. Expanded branch network is supporting deposit growth. Meanwhile, JS Bank is carefully building its loan book; although asset quality is good. The strategy is to i) foster penetration of existing branches whileexpanding the network beyond 300 branches over the near-term; ii) spreadadvances book through different products over multiple sectors; iii) buildnon-fund based income; and iv) hold strength in treasury operations. JS Bankhas adequate capital level (CAR at end-Sep16: ~12% primarily tier I).However, credit expansion may put some pressure on CAR, for which the bankhas option to add support through tier II capital.

Samsung plant inaugurated
LAHORE (PR): Samsung, the giant of consumer electronics, along with WAKTECH, consumer electronics arm of WAKGROUP, jointly inaugurated the Samsung assembly plant at Sundar Real Estate, Raiwind Road. The event was attended by Samsung senior vice president Koo Yeun Choi, counselor of South Korean Embassay Bong Soo Park, WAKGROUP CEO Ammar Ahmed Khan and WAKTECH General Manager Shehryar Ali Shah.
