ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Disabled cricket team lost to England PD cricket team by 21 runs in the first match of the ICC Academy PD T20 Tournament played in Dubai Thursday. England, after winning the toss, posted a formidable total of 170-5. Callum Flynn made stylish 76 runs off 52 deliveries while Nairn scored unbeaten 69 off 40 balls. They added 118 runs for 4th wicket. Left arm passer Abdullah Ejaz grabbed 3 for 26 while slow left arm spinner Nihaar Alam took 1 for 23. Chasing 171 runs, Pakistan could score 149-8. Rehan Ghani Mirza top-scored with an impressive 50 off 24 balls. Nihaar made unbeaten 29 in 21 balls and Adil Abbasi contributed 15 runs. John Mcad, Fred Bridges and Callum Flynn took two wickets each. Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in their second match today.
