LAHORE -  A mother of three was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists at the doorstep of her house in Mustafa Town police precincts yesterday.

The victim was identified by police as Munawar Sultana, a resident of Education Town. Her husband Abdul Razzaq, a real estate agent, had developed monetary dispute with some people, police investigators said.

According to the family, Sultana went outside soon after someone rang the doorbell. As she opened the door, unidentified motorcyclists opened straight fire on her. As a result, the lady sustained three bullets in the head and chest. She was rushed to a hospital but died in the way.

The police removed the body to the morgue for an autopsy. A murder case was registered against unknown killers on the complaint of her husband. The police were investigating the killing with no made yet.
