The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Monday proposed three members for the parliamentary committee responsible for appointing the chief justice of Pakistan.
The party nominated former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Syed Naveed Qamar to represent the National Assembly, while Farooq H. Naik will represent the Senate.
Earlier, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq requested recommendations from parliamentary leaders for the committee.
