The ban on prisoner visits at Adiala Jail has been extended until further notice, according to sources. Initially imposed by the Punjab government due to security concerns, the restriction affects both political prisoners and regular inmates.
Previously, the government had banned all visits from October 4 to October 18. This was later extended for two additional days on October 18, with the latest extension leaving the restriction in place indefinitely.
