This Monday Karachi witnessed another bloodbath when Taliban targeted the Crime Investigation Department (CID) Police officer Chaudhry Aslams residence in DHA. Eight people including five civilians lost their lives while many others were injured. Chaudry and his colleagues have been quite active in the recent past to nab Taliban leaders particularly their operatives in Karachi. The upright and brave police officer deserves unqualified praise for holding his nerves and stating immediately after the attack that the Taliban have put their hand in the jaws of a Lion and that he will exact such terrible vengeance on them that their future generations will remember it.
