KARACHI - The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has extended due date of bill payment falling on Sept 21 to Sept 24 in view of the officially declared public holiday on Friday.A KESC announcement on Thursday said that the extension has been made for all consumers who have received monthly electricity bills having last date of Sept 21 for payment. “The government has announced national holiday on that day on account of ‘Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasool (PBUH)’. The KESC has extended due date of all such monthly bills till Monday, to september 24, the next working day.”  “The KESC has directed all banks to make the amends accordingly and receive the current payable amount of such bills on Monday without late payment surcharge,” it added.
