Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in New York on Wednesday and discussed matters of bilateral interest and regional situation.

Nawaz appraised Li Keqiang about human rights violation in Indian-held Kashmir. He also welcomed China's statement on the Kashmir issue, Radio Pakistan reported.

The prime minister said that Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.” Peaceful neighbourhood is our vision,” he added.

Nawaz Sharif also expressed confidence on the pace of development in Pakistan-China relations.

On the occasion, the prime minister also extended an invitation to his Chinese counterpart to visit Pakistan.
