KARACHI - National Investment Trust Chairman Wazir Ali Khoja has distributed 12 per cent NIT units certificates among employees of NIT here on Saturday.

A special ceremony was held in NIT (head office) Karachi to distribute unit certificates against 12% NIT shares to employees under NIT Employees Empowerment Trust (NITEET) Scheme.

Chairman/MD NITL Wazir Ali Khoja distributed unit certificates among 121 employees of NIT, who were fulfilling the criteria laid down in the Trust Deed. NIT employees from head office and branches in Karachi attended the ceremony and appreciated the initiative of the Government of Pakistan. Chairman, in his opening remarks, lauded the efforts of Iqbal Ahmed, Head of NIT Administration, to achieve this objective. The aim of the Govt of Pakistan by this scheme is the empowerment of employees of the state owned entities. The basic purpose of the scheme is to give a sense of participation to the employees in the organizations they are working for.
