KARACHI - Pakistan Air Line Pilots’ Association (PALPA) expressed deep shock and grief over Friday’s tragic plane crash near Islamabad.

In a statement issued on Saturday, President PALPA Sohail Baloch condoled with the bereaved families over the loss of precious lives in the crash.

Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families, Palpa President prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss with fortitude.

He said that the plane crash signifies the importance of flight safety laws and passenger safety measures and pointed out that Palpa had been stressing on flight safety standards since its inception.
