Sindh provincial Minister Abdul Salam Thaheem passed away after protracted illness in the wee hours of Sunday. According to details, Abdul Salam Thaheem, who was suffering from kidney problem, was under treatment in a private hospital in Karachi where he breathed his last early Sunday morning.

The funeral prayers of the deceased will be offered this evening at 5.00 P.M at his native place Tayyab Thaheem.

Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other senior politicians have expressed profound grief over the sad demise of the Abdul Salam Thaheem.

They lauded the role of the deceased in the politics and development of the province and prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
