KARACHI -  The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has released CDs of party’s election songs to attract the voters for the next elections.

Two songs are in four languages-Sindhi, Punjabi, Pashtu and Balochi launched by the PPP leaders during their Press conference at Karachi Press Club on Sunday. PPP Sindh General Secretary and chief of party’s provincial election cell, Taj Haider, ND Khan, Rashid Rabbani, Lal Bux Bhutto, Waqar Mehdi, Senator Saeed Ghani and others said that an audio song in four languages is sung by Shabir Lashari, through which party will attract the voters for the party’s candidates. The poetry of song is written by Akhtar Baloch in audio CD, while other song of video CD is sung by Mustafa Mir.

On this occasion, Taj Haider said that Bhutto family gave sacrifices than any political family in the world.

Keeping the security threats in mind, the party has decided that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would not participate physically in the election campaign in each public gathering, however, he will address the people through video link.

PPP leaders while opposing the ban imposed by the ECP on transportation facility to bring the voters at polling stations demanded that transportation facility must be revived. The PPP leaders also condemned the withdrawal of security from the office- bearers of party in Sindh, stating, that ECP’s decision is invitation to terrorists to attack on the leaders.

They demanded of the caretaker government and ECP to provide the security to the PPP leaders and candidates as they are already facing threats.

PPP leaders said that elections are fight between right wing and left wing, claiming that PML-N and other Opposition parties representing right wing, which supports thoughts of Taliban mindset.

They said that PML-N candidates have no threats as their ideology is close to the same one of Taliban, adding, that Ayaz Amir was ignored by his party PML-N due to his opposition to Taliban thoughts.

The PPP leaders questioned the neutrality of ECP and caretaker government stating that when Supreme Court gave verdict against Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and others who received money through IJI but they were allowed to contest elections, which raised doubts on neutrality of ECP.
