ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Post has issued the first ever silver commemorative stamp to mark the 75th death anniversary of Dr Allama Muahmmad Iqbal, poet of the nation. The Rs15 stamp was put on display at the special postal counter arranged by Pakistan Post at Mazar-e-Iqbal, Additional Director General Pakistan Post Fazli Sattar Khan told APP on Sunday. He said that a special booklet had also been issued by the Pakistan Post containing all commemorative stamps issued by it till todate.
He said that the first ever silver stamp was issued on the special interest of Secretary Postal Services Javaid Iqbal Awan and Director General Pakistan Post Syed Ghulam Panjtan Rizvi.
