Acne is a source of pain for the young, what they don’t know is that it can be controlled or at least held back by the use of proper food. Acne happens due to stress and eating disorders. Many healthy foods contain vitamins and minerals that are effective in helping to treat acne. Filling our diet with food, such as carrots as they contain vitamin A, which helps to reduce excess production of sebum; red meats as they are rich in zinc, which prevent acne by controlling your oil gland activity; and whole grains as they contain various B vitamins, important for aiding your body in dealing with stress, which may cause acne. So please take healthy food in your diet. The adage, ‘health is wealth’ is very true and we all need to take care of our bodies as they are given to us as a trust from Allah and we should not abuse it.
