Karachi violence claims 3 lives


KARACHI -  At least three people lost their lives in different incidents of violence in the metropolis Sunday.
A passer-by namely Tahir was killed and another injured in an exchange of fire between two groups of gangsters at Al-Falah Road within the precincts of Docks Police Station. SHO Asif Jakhrani said police have no information about the gangsters. However, sources said Lyari gangsters were involved in the crossfire.
In another incident, armed men shot dead security guard, Allah Dino, who tried to foil robbery at a private shop in Jubilee area within limits of Eidgah Police Station. The body was moved to his hometown Nawabshah after autopsy at Civil Hospital, Karachi.
Meanwhile, Manghopir police found a human skeleton from Sultanabad area. Police said the skeleton is at least two-month-old and its identification is yet to be ascertained.  In other incident, MQM activist Raheel was shot injured by armed men when he accompanied by others was installing party’s flags in Mohabbat Khan Jee Road in Lyari.  Two men, Mushtaq Qureshi and Asif, were wounded when armed men riding a motorcycle opened indiscriminate fire on them in Rizvia locality.
Four persons, Gul Khan, Zahid, Zafar and Javaid, sustained injuries when their neighbour, Feroz, resorted indiscriminate fire on them over personal enmity in Quaidabad area.  A youth identified as Naeem, was wounded by armed men near Abbasi Shaheed Hospital within the limits of Nazimabad locality over unexplained reasons. At least two armed men riding a motorcycle shot and injured a person, namely Irshad near Lea Market area.
