Sharifs made investors run away: PML-Q


LAHORE - Pakistan Muslim League-Q central leader and candidate from NA-105, Ch Parvez Elahi has said that during his tenure as the then Punjab Chief Minister, he brought Rs 900 billion foreign investment to the province but Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif govt made the investors run away.
“We do not make false promises to the people, as a result of elections if given the opportunity, Inshallah, will remove deprivations of the people,” he added. He was addressing a big public meeting after inauguration of election offices in Harianwala, Shadiwal and adjoining area in NA-105 in Shams Colony Harianwala in Gujrat.
Kashmiri, Khan and Rana communities members announced their full support to Ch Parvez Elahi in the elections, says a Press release.
Parvez Elahi further said that because of our mega projects, not only foreign investment was increasing but people in large numbers got employment.
He said that because of Shahbaz Sharif’s faulty and failed schemes like Ashiana Scheme, Yellow Cab Scheme, "Jangla" Bus Service, Sasti Roti and Tandoor Schemes, Punjab is today under heavy debt of Rs 500 billion.
He said that we do not make false promises and what we say we do that. He asked the people to vote for cycle in the elections.
In response, the people raised their hands saying they will vote for cycle in the elections.
Parvez Elahi thanked the people for their warm and enthusiastic welcome accorded to him.
The meeting was also addressed by Tausif Liaquat, Sajjad Hussain, Muhammad Irshad, Niamat Ali, Muhammad Younas, Shahbaz Akhtar and Abdul Sattar while Ch Shamsul Hassan and Ch Nadeem Akhtar Malhi were also present on the stage.
On this occasion, Kashmiri community members of different localities headed by Khurram Butt announced to join PML-Q.
