Manchester - Manchester United have sacked theri manager David Moyes after merely 10 months in charge of the club. The former Everton manager is believed to have lost the support of the club's owners - the Glazer family - even though he was hand-picked by previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
United had on Monday insisted that Moyes was still their manager but hadn't denied reports regarding his expected dismissal.
Holland national team manager Louis van Gaal, Borussia Dortmund's Jürgen Klopp and the former United defender and Paris St-Germain coach Laurent Blanc are early favourites to replace Moyes.
