ISLAMABAD- The head of AML (Awami Muslim League) and parliamentarian Sheikh Rasheed has condemned the recent murderous attack on Geo News anchor person Hamid Mir and maligning of ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence).
Talking to journalists outside parliament House today, he said that despite having many differences with the GEO anchorperson, he was nevertheless strongly against any endeavors to target Hamid Mir. It would escalate tensions, causing embarrassment for Federation and Armed Forces at global platforms.
He also stressed on defense minister and interior minister to come out with quick facts over the issue, which can cause serious damage to the entire democratic process. “Neither Geo group can be finished, nor can ISI be disbanded”, he resolved. Both GEO and ISI had their own importance, but this issue needs to be settled amicably.
