Islamabad/Rawalpindi - Islamabad police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a stolen vehicle, an illicit pistol along with ammunition and stolen items from their possession.

According to details, Noon police arrested an accused Ejaz and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol along with ammunition from him. Ramana police arrested an accused Shafique involved in illegal cylinder gas filling. Sabzi Mandi police arrested two accused Muhammad Shahbaz and Muhammad Arshad and recovered stolen truck from their possession. Sihala police arrested two accused Muhammad Arshad and Muhammad Basheer and recovered stolen property from their possession. Margalla police arrested two accused Muhammad Sufyan and Fahad Ifktikhar involved in a theft case. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police have arrested 12 suspects during a search operation conducted in various areas of the city. These persons were arrested from the area of police station Golra who are being investigated further.

Meanwhile, following the instructions of City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi, Rawalpindi police carried out door to door search operation in the precincts of Police Station Morgah to purge the localities of suspicious elements. The search operation, led by SP Potohar Division Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, was conducted in the areas of Officer Colony, Kotha Kalan, Jhamra and Dhoke Nawaz on Tuesday. On the other hand, police during a special drive against anti-social elements held 14 outlaws from various parts of the city and recovered 11.7-kg hashish, 100 litres alcohol and 40 litres petrol from their possession, he said.
