LAHORE: An Excise and Taxation team arrested three people from Nawan Kot and Nishatar colony areas before recovering more than 150 litres of spurious liquor from their possession, an E&T officer confirmed on Tuesday.
Following the directions of E&T Director General Aziz Ahmad Tarar, a team raided a factory and held Naqash Masih, Amin Masih and Bhagat Masih with 150 litres of liquor.
The accused were involved in manufacturing and sale of spurious liquor.
The team also recovered the machinery being used in manufacturing and packing of liquor.
Cases have been registered against accused with Excise police station and investigation has been referred to police of separate police stations.–Staff Reporter
