Accident kills four, injures15

SHEIKHUPURA
Four people were killed while 15 other sustained injuries, five of them critically, in a road mishap that took place near Nankana Bypass road on Tuesday.
As per details, about 25 labourers on board a pickup van were on the way to Gujranwala from Nankana. When the vehicle reached near Nankana bypass road, it rammed into a school bus, coming from the opposite direction.
As a result, Sajid, 30, Khadim, 40, van driver Allah Ditta and an unidentified person died on the spot. While Mulazim Hussain, Farman Elahi, Yaqoob and Mansoor sustained critical wounds and were shifted to Faisalabad and Lahore hospitals. The remaining injured shifted to local DHQ hospital. The police have started investigation.
RICE DEALERS BOOKED: The City Police registered a case against Jaffar and Aaqib, rice traders on the complaint of Amjad Pervez Virk on charge of misplacing fine quality rice worth Rs5.2 million in their warehouses.
According to police, the complainant had hired warehouses owned by the accused to store the consignment. The owner when went to warehouses to check the stock. But he found the rice stock disappeared. The police have started investigation.
LOOTED: Four dacoits stormed into the house farmer Nawaz and took away cash, ornaments and other valuables worth hundreds and thousands of rupees. The Bhiki Police started investigation.
