Rawalpindi - Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain, the judge of the customs, taxation and anti-smuggling court which is hearing model Ayyan Ali’s money laundering case, was transferred on Tuesday.
He would be replaced by Judge Rana Aftab, who would take charge soon, sources informed.
Hussain had rejected bail pleas of Ayyan Ali and sent her on judicial remand to Adyala Jail in the money-laundering case.
