Minister for Power Division Sardar Awais Leghari has said that federal government is providing 650MW electricity to K-Electric in a bid to provide relief to people of Karachi, reported Radio Pakistan.

In an another letter to CM Sindh, the minister said the Karachi Water Supply Board is the sole responsibility of the Sindh Government under the 18th constitutional amendment.         

Awais Leghari also urged the CM to consider the issue of Karachi as a national issue and play its role to settle payment issue between K-Electric and KWSB.
