KARACHI - Federal Interior Ministry on Thursday warned the citizens that more suicide attacks could take place throughout the country in reaction to the surge in Bajore Operation. Source privy to the matter told The Nation on condition of anonymity that Fareed Ahmed Khan, Director Operations National Crisis Management Cell, has sent a letter to all the four provincial home departments warning further suicide attacks. Baitullah Mehsood, leader of the Tehreek-e-Taliban, has planned to target sensitive places and installations throughout the county and the current spate of suicide bombings was the reaction of the Bajore Operation, Federal Ministry claimed. The letter further stated that Baitullah Mehsood has sent six suicide bombers and ten remote control device experts to achieve his targets. The letter said that the suicide bombers and remote control device experts have reached Karachi from Tora-Mandi, Tank and Bannu. Two among these terrorists hailed from Mehsood tribes while the rest belonged to Afghanistan. Interior Ministry has directed the law enforcement agencies to be more vigilant. Sources further said that Sindh Home Department has recently received another letter from intelligence agencies containing instructions to beef up security at the Australian Consulate, sensitive installations and Australian visitors.
