ISLAMABAD - A five-member Chinese delegation of tour operators from Southern China led by Mr Wang of Chinese Embassy called on Brig. Amanullah, Managing Director of PTDC at his office here on Thursday. According to a press release issued here the discussions were held regarding promotion of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism between Pakistan and China.   Members of the delegation assured the Managing Director that the Chinese Tourism Organisation will arrange visit of tourist groups to Pakistan and would also like to receive groups from Pakistan. The Managing Director of PTDC presented gifts of Ajrak and PTDC's tourist literature to the members of the delegations. Later, the delegation visited Lahore under the arrangements of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation. During their trip to Lahore they visited famous and historical places e.g. Lahore Museum, Lahore Fort, Shesh Mahal, Badshahi Mosque etc. They enjoyed their visit and appreciated the Mughal heritage, especially the Shesh Mahal in Lahore Fort.  The delegation also visited Wahga border to witness the unique and famous flag-lowering ceremony. The PTDC Regional Manager of Lahore-Delhi Bus Service Col. (Retd) Khalid Sarfaraz presented gifts to the delegation. The members highly appreciated the hospitality extended by the PTDC.
