ISLAMABAD  - Adviser to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman A Malik has said in unequivocal terms that the menace of terrorism and extremism could not be tackled alone. He made these comments while talking to mediamen after giving away certificates to the women police personnel who have completed anti-terrorism training conducted by the US here Thursday. The Adviser said no one would be allowed to challenge the government's writ, and reaffirmed that Bajaur operation would be continued till the complete elimination of anti-state elements from the area. Rehman also appealed to the citizens of Kurram Agency to play their due role to ensure a ceasefire between the tribes who were fighting for the last many months. Earlier, addressing the ceremony he said, US has been persistently assisting Pakistan to combat the scourge of terrorism as country's security forces were not well trained in this regard.  The war against terrorism is our own war and it would be continued till its logical end and added that strong and stable Afghanistan is in Pakistan's interests, he concluded.
