Concern expressed over discovery of unnamed graves in IHK

The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and other pro-liberation leaders and organisations, while expressing serious concern over the discovery of unnamed graves in occupied Kashmir, have demanded international probe into the matter. According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in a media interview in New Delhi said that an international probe must be conducted regarding the discovery of unmarked graves in the occupied territory. APHC leader and the Chairperson of Muslim Khawateen Markaz, Yasmeen Raja in a statement, asking the world human rights organizations to take serious note of the matter, urged them to impress upon India to stop gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Executive Director of Kashmir Centre London, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl in his statement also articulated concern regarding the latest report from the districts of Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipore where members of the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) discovered several unmarked graves. Such discoveries call for an international probe, he said adding that the Amnesty International had already endorsed the early findings of the APDP.
